The 2024 New York Pro is currently taking place on Saturday, May 18 at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, New Jersey. This competition featured athletes from nine divisions including the Men’s Open, Men’s 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Bikini, Women’s Bodybuilding, Figure, Women’s Physique, and Wellness.
Considered the third-most prestigious bodybuilding event of the year, the New York Pro, once called the Night of Champions, has a rich history in the IFBB Pro League with several icons winning the title such as Kai Greene, Phil Heath, and Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay. This event is a Mr. Olympia qualifier for the 2024 season. In 2021, Nick Walker won gold and aimed to replicate that success this weekend against 2023 NY Pro winner Tonio Burton.
Athletes have until September 15 to earn their qualification for the 2024 Mr. Olympia. The 2024 Mr. Olympia celebrates its 60th anniversary later this year from October 10-13, which promises to be an unforgettable show, as teased by Olympia president Dan Solomon.
